You can leave your computer plugged in whenever needed or convenient to do so. Neither the battery nor the computer will be damaged by doing so.

You can leave your computer plugged in whenever needed or convenient to do so. Neither the battery nor the computer will be damaged by doing so.
You won't overcharge the battery or damage the other components, but it is possible you might reduce the battery's maximum charging capacity by keeping it plugged in all the time.
