Unread emails

After upgrading to the latest iOs version 15.5 (iphone 13 pro max) my device stopped displaying the red circle with unread emails. Any idea why this might have happened? I have tried notifications settings

Do you have unread mail?

If so and you still can’t see the badges try restart your iPhone ☞ Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

also force close the mail app ☞ Close an app on your iPhone or iPod touch - Apple Support

if you still need help contact Apple Support ☞ Contact Apple Support

Hey there,

make sure the badges is on :

Go to Settings > mail > notifications > badges-turn on .

Also in the same page go to customize notifications and make sure the badges is turned on for all of your accounts.

Thank you but badges are turned on. This happened after the last iOS update
