Regardless of printer / paper settings my Apple receipts cut off words on the right hand side and sometimes drip a line at the bottom of a page. This happens when printing or when converting to .pdf and it doesn't matter how I scale the document.

A general purpose trouble fixer might work to resolve this. Try a restart into Safe Mode, followed by a second 'normal' restart.
