AirDrop between Sierra and Monterey (2010 MacBook Air and 2020 MacBook Air)?

I have a late 2010 MacBook Air running Sierra 10.12.6 and a 2020 MacBook Air running Monterey 12.2.1. Is there any way I can send files between them using AirDrop? They see each other via Bluetooth but neither computer's AirDrop can see the other's AirDrop.
