SMS Messages cannot be sent from an iPhone

In iPhone Messages, I attach documents to a message to send to a non-iPhone, but the SMS Message will not be sent. I have gone through all the suggested steps and procedures, but nothing helps. Does anyone know why and have a solution?

You need MMS enabled by your carrier. and in your Settings. See the Pic below
