Hi. I wonder if anyone can help me. I am hopeless with most technology. Sorry 😔. I recently used my Apple Pay on a gambling site (first time) and ended up winning £250. Happy days I thought. When I tried to withdraw it they sent me this.

“In order to process your withdrawal, I will kindly ask that you upload a proof of ApplePay account ownership by providing a screenshot of your account information, showing the payment method used and your name”

I went onto settings then wallet and Apple Pay. I took a snapshot of my card linked to Apple Pay (only the last four digits show) but as my name is not on there it is not acceptable. It just says the name of the bank. If I click one further and go onto transactions and open that up it says the amount and who was paid but there is no card details or my name. So any idea how I provide the information they need. Any help very much appreciated.

iPhone SE, iOS 14

No it’s not a scam. A well

known company. I have used them before using PayPal and had winnings back no problem. But to deposit I have to log on to PayPal then two forms if identification then proceed and confirm so thought I would try Apple Pay (hence this was first time) and it just needed my fingerprint but if you pay with Apple pay you have to have to withdraw Apple pay that's why they want verification.

I had no problem with PayPal just the complicatedness of the payment. Having a PayPal withdrawal was fine.

I don't believe it’s any form of scam. I just need to find out how to send a snapshot verifying I am the account holder of the Apple Pay account that was used to deposit.

thank you.
