Downloading a form after login

I’m trying to download some immunization forms and save or send (email) them for future use. However, when I try to export the page (box with an arrow pointing up in the top right corner of the browser window), it will only export a link to the website’s login page even after opening the document in its own tab. This occurs whether I choose print, send as an email attachment (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo), or to download as a PDF (Adobe and PDF expert). How can I get my iPad to save/send the actual PDF instead of a link to a login page?

I’ve closed and reopened the browsers, restarted my iPad, selected different export options (in Safari), switched from the mobile to desktop site, and tried downloading the page to my files first. So far, my only work around is to screenshot the pages and work with them from my photos app but I doubt that’s the best way to download these forms.

I’m on an iPad air 4 running iOS 14.8. Thank you for your help!

Hello mcp1945,

Just to confirm, is this only happening with a specific website?

You can save a PDF or webpage from Safari to the Books app, and then read it later on your iPhone or iPad.

You can find the steps to save a PDF or webpage from Safari here: Read a webpage in Books on your iPhone or iPad

If you want to access health records on another iOS device in the Health app, this link explains how to do that: View health records on your iPhone or iPod touch
