Stolen or buy watch

By the serial number of watch , can I know it’s stolen or buying from authorize distributors?

Hi there!


I don't think serial numbers can show that at all. But if the Apple watch shows activation lock or says it's lost, chances are, the seller is not the owner of the watch or perhaps they can no longer sign in their Apple ID to remove these locks on the device.


Just make sure to purchase from an Apple Authorized reseller for peace of mind. Normally online sellers sell them at cheaper prices only to find out later that they're locked.
