How can I block stories from Apple and other news sources that require a subscription ?

How can I block stories from Apple and other news sources that require a subscription ? Every time I click on something that I’d like to read I get the irritating notification that I need a subscription. It wastes my time and irritates me.

How to stop Apple News subscription? I am never going to subscribe to News. The constant unreadable stories that I am suckered into clicking on amount to an advertisement to pay Apple 9.99 more a month. I am not going to do that. I don’t want even more advertising on my phone. Can I get rid of “News” entirely? Blocking new channels on Apple News I don't want to wade through news channels, CNN, MSNBC, The New York Times, Bloomberg, etc. Their news stories keep showing up even though I block the channel. So, how do I block it? If I wish to see they're stories I do it on Safari. [Edited by Moderator]
