Stocks complication update bug?

It seems after the watch and the phone have been out of range that the stocks complication no longer updates. Also it appears the stocks app is also not updating?

It sounds like your Apple Watch isn't updating when out of range of your iPhone. We can help.

Depending on the model of Apple Watch, that is if it is GPS only or GPS + Cellular, it may be relying on your iPhone to pass information to it to keep your complications current.

It’s the version 6, no sim, so I expect it needs the phone to keep the complication updated.

the issue is that once the phone is back in range the complication does not update, it remains stuck at whatever value it was at prior to the watch and phone ceasing to be in communication. This also seems to be the case for the stocks app on the watch.

Other complications, and apps, update as expected
