Reviving An iPod Nano 6th Generation

Hi Guys!

I recently went through my box of old devices when I came across my pink iPod nano from 2010 along with other iPods and old iPhones.

When I tried to turn on my other devices they all worked. However, when I connected the 6th gen. iPod to my Mac this error message popped up:

An iPod has been detected, but it could not be identified properly. Please disconnect and reconnect the iPod, then try again. An unknown error occurred (1601).

I disconnected and reconnected the device numerous times, each time with a different cable and nothing worked. I wasn't even able to reset the device to its factory settings. the screen won't turn on either, and no logo is visible.

Does anyone know what else I could try to switch it on, or has anyone faced similar issues?

Thanks!

(please find a picture showing what my Mac shows me when I connect it)
