I received a text with a link and didn't realize it was spam. I actually filled in my password and SSN and when I hit next is when I realized it was spam. I closed the window at that point and didn't hit any submit buttons. Did I go too far and am I in trouble now?

Yes, you've created a mess. By "password", do you mean your Apple ID password? If so, change it immediately!

For the SSN, contact the SS office and let them know what happened so they can watch for possible fraud.
