How to remove Google virtual drive from finder sidebar permanently

Question has been asked before. When you (accidentally) eject the Google Drive from the sidebar Google Drive stops working. Nasty.

Much better:

Go to Google Drive settings ans deselect "Show Google Drive in Favorites in Finder"
Add the Google Drive folder manually to the sidebar

Drive for desktop.. How to remove google virtual drive from sidebar permanently I recently installed google drive for desktop from backup and sync. Google drive in the finder's sidebar - how to remove it? I want to remove the link that Google Drive recreates at each start of my Macbook Air M1. It puts on my finder's sidebar a link with an eject volume and it puts it on the top of the list. I want to avoid this. Any hints?
