back up iPhone

I have not backed up my iPhone since I got it over a year ago....how do I do that without wiping out all my photos and other information?

Start here:--> How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, and choose your preferred (doable) method.

A backup procedure doesn't affect data/apps/media currently stored on your iPhone.
