Auto lock set to 2 minutes and can’t change on ipad

I am not able to change the time out setting on my iPad as the option is greyed out. I have read prior answers to this issue and do not have lower mode or parental controls on. Any other ideas?

iPad, iPadOS 15

Apologies Chris - we have now resolved this. For anyone else, please double check the low power mode button. Apparently this had been engaged a few days ago when the battery was low and I’m guessing it doesn’t automatically reset following recharge.

Thanks everyone for this thread.

What would affect the “ability” to change the auto-lock? My MiL is also having this problem with the greyed out autolock and she desperately wants to change it from 2 mins and we can’t work out what settings will allow her to do this. I’m stumped as my iPad is fine.

TIA

If you have the ability to change the Auto-Lock setting, it is located in Settings>Display & Brightness>Auto-Lock. If you do not have a profile in Settings>General, that just means that you do not have a profile on your device. Profiles will only appear if you have one installed.
