iPod Touch 5th Gen is unable to airdrop photos to iPhone 13 Pro. I've already followed the steps on the Apple Support site (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204144) but it still does not work. Thoughts?

My iPod Touch 5th Gen (running on iOS 9.3.5) is unable to airdrop photos to iPhone 13 Pro (iOS 15.5).


I've already followed the steps on the Apple Support site (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204144) several times, but it still does not work.


My iPhone and iPad can airdrop files to each other just fine. Only my old iPod Touch is unable to use Airdrop files on newer devices.


Is there any other way to get Airdrop to work?
