How to merge previous ID purchases into current id

While you cannot merge purchases from another Apple ID, another alternative resolution would be to set up Family Sharing on your primary Apple ID and invite your secondary Apple ID to the FS.

Afterwards, enable purchase sharing on both Apple IDs in order to have access to purchases made across all Apple IDs.

That is not possible. Purchases are tied to the AppleID used when making the purchase, and they cannot be transferred to another AppleID.

Why did you make a new AppleID in the first place? There are very rarely reasons to do so.
