Iphone 12 mini frozen on lock screen
Since January 2021 when I got my phone it has frozen on the lock screen 6 or 7 times, happening every few months. When I try to turn the phone off it goes to the power off screen but is still frozen and I can't use the slider to power off.
If I then try a hard restart - vol up/vol down/side button still nothing happens.
I found that connecting to I tunes and doing an update seemed to reset the phone and unfreeze it.
This has worked every time until today when it froze again.
Connected to I tunes and the phone synced but unfortunately the software is up to date so it won't reboot and the phone is still frozen. Decided to try and restore the phone but I tunes told me to turn off Find my Phone in ICloud on my phone which obviously I can't do!
Has anyone any other suggestions apart from waiting for the battery to run out and see if that fixes it.
