Mac beeps randomly and freezes and restarts randomly too

Hello,

First and foremost let me say that to my knowledge my mac is up to date, and I've checked whether the chimes I've been hearing are the same as any of the built in ones in system preferences and they aren't. I've recently begun encountering a problem where every so often, maybe once or twice a day, my mac will randomly make a beep/bloop sound that's quick and is over right away, just a quick bloop. It's not during startup, it's just... random, like any time of day that I'm using it, it could happen, and I have no idea what's causing it. On a possibly similar note, my mac has been randomly freezing for a few minutes, then the screen goes black and I'm brought back to the sign in screen like it restarted, and this happens maybe once every couple of days. I don't know what's going on
