I’m not in a position to get WiFi so I could not back my iPhone right now

If you want to back your iPhone up to iCloud, you need WiFi

How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch with iCloud - Apple Support

If WiFi isn't an option for you, then you would need to back your phone up using a computer
