css always in cache, using Safari and Chrome in Macbook

I am currently developing a site using styles.css

Any change I do is not reflected in my Mac, but yes in another device.

I am using

macOS Monterrey / 12.4 (21F79)

Safari Version 15.5 (17613.2.7.1.8) - Haven't seen any way of disable CSS cache, only option Develop-Disable CSS I can see

Chrome Version 102.0.5005.115 (Official Build) (arm64) - I have used Develop inspect mode --> Network --> and checked disable cache option but issue persists.

I have to say in a Windows computer using Chrome this issue is not happening, in same page, same CSS, only in my Macbook I can face this issue

Any idea how to remove css from my cache?

Hello robertmurer,

Removing the cache is Safari on a Mac is performed as follows:

1. In the Safari app  on your Mac, choose History > Clear History, then click the pop-up menu.
2. Choose how far back you want your browsing history cleared.

This information is from Clear your browsing history in Safari on Mac - Apple Support

You may also want to try holding the shift key as you start up Safari as this will clear any saved state.

Have a good day.
