According to Google Pay Help:

This feature is not currently available for Google Pay on iPhones.

You can download the Google Pay App to your iPhone: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/google-pay-save-pay-manage/id1193357041

You can only use the Google Pay app to pay on select websites and apps on iOS. You still would not be able to use it on iTunes Store.

Correct. But since there's no specification of what the OP is trying to pay for with Google Pay, no reason to believe the App is not enough at this point. True this is the iTunes Store forum, but it cold just be the a random forum they chose.

Hopefully they explains exactly what they want to do with Google Pay.
