Can’t use my own Apple Cash/Debit card for in app purchases
My debit is default in wallet but the “Edit” button is grayed out in the “payment and shipping” tab under my Apple ID settings.

👉 Sign in to your Apple ID account page and edit / update your Apple ID details.
👉 or To change the billing address you can do (macOS & Windows OS) via iTunes
Start Music -> Click on iTunes -> side bar click iTunes Store -> go to Account (top bar) -> View Account -> Sign in -> Apple ID Summary -> Billing Address -> Edit.
👉 or (iPhone & iPad) Go to -> Settings -> tap your Profile -> Payment and shipping -> Change Address.
Edit the Address -> tap Done.

Sorry, but that’s my problem. Take a look at the second image I’ve attached and notice the grayed out “edit” button that I cannot tap.
I know for a fact that it is possible to use Apple Cash for in app purchases because it says quite explicitly on the “set up and use Apple Cash family” page on Apple’s support website.
I went to payment and shipping and there’s no way to change the card that’s already there. The edit button is grayed out as in my second attatched screenshot. I’m not sure where you want me to go if that’s the wrong screen.
