New MacBook Air and Twelve South BassJump Subwoofer compatibility

I have just purchased the newest MacBook Air.

I've just found a TwelveSouth BassJump subwoofer (in mint condition, still in it's box) that I last used years ago with my previous MacBook Air.

Can the BassJump still be used for something other than as a weight in a crab pot or should I send it for recycling?

Any advice would be most appreciated.

Plug it in and test.

You may need an adapter, they're dirt cheap, but the best way to see if a light build is burned out is to turn on the light sort of thing.

Okey dokey, I'll give it a try.

I'd just hate to have to send such a nice piece of kit to the recycling centre.
