One touch dialing

i’ve seen this asked a few times already. There’s been a couple of suggested solutions but apparently it’s been a problem for several years looking at the date of these questions. Why can’t we disable or have some sort of confirm call button whenever going through recent call list because not just me but several others accidentally touch one of the recent calls and it starts dialing and we make unintended calls. The worst is when I’m reaching for my end button after a phone call and the person hangs up before me and it goes to the list and I push somebody else’s name and starts calling them. I wish Apple would please come up with a solution and I do hope Apple looks at this but hard to say considering this has been a problem for years now with other questions I saw.
