4K/60 FPS files from Photos import to FCP as FullHD/ 30 FPS

Hi to all!

I have a bunch of 4K/60 FPS photos taken with my iPhone and uploaded to my Mac Photo app via iCloud.

I want to edit them using FCP and when I import them - either through the app or by drag and drop from Photos app - they end up as FullHD/ 30 FPS.

The project settings are the same as the original files.

My biggest issue here is not resolution but FPS as I want to create a slow motion video.

What can I do to resolve the issue?

Mac mini, macOS 12.4

Do not import your videos by drag and drop from Photos. Do not use the iCloud Photos library for video. Import from the phone cam album hardwired or using AirDrop from the phone to the Mac with Options set to All Data.

You’re not shooting Cinematic are you?
