We already set up family sharing under his account and he added me. I purchase Procreate, and it is eligible for family sharing but we can't find out how he can download it on his ipad.
Interesting- if you tried signing out, then back in, to his Apple ID, try removing him from the family, then re-adding him.
Also, some things to check- make sure your devices are updated, and purchases aren't hidden.
If nothing works, you may need to erase and restore your devices from a backup.
Thanks! After scratching my head forever I finally went into his ipad and under app updates saw a photo in the upper right hand corner, when pressed showed all the apps on my computer he could download! I found it!
Now I need to figure out how he can get my songs.
He should just be able to go to the App Store and download Procreate for free. If it doesn't show up, try signing out, then back in, to his iCloud account, or restarting the device.
I bought it years ago, and I know his ipad was turned off since then. It shows up as not being free. I plugged his Ipad and mine into Itunes in Windows and can't even see the apps visible on either one. It used to list them all. I've spent two frustrating hours on this and at my wits end.
What is also weird is that shouldn't the songs I purchase be on his iphone automatically?
I'm afraid Apple removed App Management in the iTunes 12.7 update, back in 2018. You're no longer able to view device apps in iTunes.
Also, I just remembered - you may be able to share Procreate to your husband by pressing and holding the app, then selecting "Share App", then using AirDrop to move it over. It may work, or not, but it's worth a shot.

As for the songs, try going to the iTunes Store app, then tapping More, then Purchased (on his iPad). Choose the family member who owns the song (you), then choose the category Music. He should be able to click on one of your songs, then Download.
Thanks will try that later. What about the fact that when I plug my Ipad into Itunes on my desktop I can no longer see apps. I can see music, photos, books, etc. but no apps?
