After updating to Messenger 366.0 (22nd June 2022) the app crashes almost every time. I have found that it only crashes if i have the iPad on the magic keyboard. If I remove the iPad from the keyboard and open messenger it works ok. As soon as I connect the keyboard, the app crashes, even if I am in the middle of a message.

If the issue you're experiencing is exclusive to the Facebook Messenger app, we would recommend troubleshooting the app itself. thankyou, yes I did try all of that before posting, so far the only way to be able to use Messenger for any length of time, is to remove the ipad from the magic keyboard and open Facebook Messenger App.
I will have to contact Facebook app support directly.
