Udemy Videos not working on M1 MacBook Air

Some Udemy videos have a black screen but still, play sound. I tried turning off all my extensions, clearing cookies and history, trying Chrome instead (Incognito as well), and downloading the videos to play them locally as an mp4, but the outcome is always the same.

All the videos work when I try it on my windows PC (Chrome) so I'm not sure what exactly is happening. Even the downloaded videos worked on my windows PC.
