Stocks App not showing stock prices or large graph on a Mac

When opening the Stocks app, it doesn't show price/%/ (it shows the name, little graph and has the top stories. When you click on a stock it doesn't show the big graph either.

I saw an earlier thread that said to rename/delete the "data" in "/Users/YOUR_USER_NAME/Library/Containers/com.apple.stocks/". The only one I saw there was named com.apple.stocks-widget-container and it had a data file but when renamed no new data folder appeared and nothing happened diferently.

Further on it said the the file was located in "/Users/YOUR_USER_NAME/Library/Containers/Stocks/" and I found that and renamed the folder and when I opened Stocks app it created a new data folder but still didn't have the prices and then didn't have the stories either, in other words worse off. Now news feed unavailable.

How can I fix this?
