Found a brand new iPhone watch 7 but it’s locked. and I don’t know how to be able to find out to get it to the person that belongs to you. How do I either unlock it or get it to the person in the world to?

actually I have no idea why but after I charged it and turned it back on it automatically synced to my iPhone. So it is linked to my phone now but I still need their password to reset everything else. But I’m not gonna turn it into the police there’s just no way I don’t deal with police and I will not deal with them. Plus it’s an $800 watch and it’s literally probably never been used it’s brand new I think I am entitled to at least a $20-$50 reward on this one. I mean is that selfish or don’t you agree I would gladly give someone one to $200 and I found this watch and turned it back into me. I just don’t know how to find out who’s it is

and yes I know that probably sounds super selfish but I’m very low in the *** and I can actually get this watch unlocked from one of my buddies and just use it or sell it for full price but I would rather get it back to the person that it belongs to. I’m just hoping that they’re willing to give me a reward for holding onto it and returning it to them instead of selling it for $400-500$
