Charger no good no excuses

The lopsided heavy MacBook charger falls out of outlet because it is a terrible design. I am sick of hearing advice about extension leads or getting a new power outlet Installed ! Haha 😂

apple 🍎 please listen - ditch your ridiculously badly designed charger. It is an essential component that is unreliable at best.

Now, please does someone have a good charger alternative? Currently I am giving my iPad charger a go but so far it has taken ten minutes to go up 3%. I want to buy a Mac mini but if this power problem persists I may have to move to the dark side and buy a pc.

The original design included the six foot AC "extension cord" in the box, and users were free to use whichever they preferred. Various iterations of that design were released for a decade or more. It is only recently that the "extension cord" has been deleted from the box, essentially made "optional".

So the underlying design of these power adapters is 'with six foot cord'. If the little duck-head is not to your liking for any reason, use the pre-designed and intended six foot power cord. If you are not using the cord, you are not using the power adapter as designed -- you are using the 'shortcut' version, and from what you say, the shortcut is not working well for you

Almost no one who responds here works for Apple. If a PC running Windows in a better solution for you, then by all means use a PC running Windows. That threat gets no traction here.
