Why is my iPhone X voice memos not working?

did the new update do anything to voice memos? I have an iPhone 15 and I think it did something to voice memos. Shortly after I updated it, I was in new york and was seeing some theater. I record a little summary of my day on voice memos at a certain time each night, and so i ended up having to do it right before the show started. It sounded like you are hearing it through a wall, and I've done this before the update and it worked fine. This happened two nights in a row but sounded normal if i did it anywhere else. My phone's never had any problems before, so does anyone know what was happening?

WHY do voice memos automatically disappear? I’ve just recently started using Voice Memos recorded and I noticed that they disappear within an hour. Why is this happening? I have an iPhone 12.

After sending a voice memo it seems to disappear from my screen in about one minute max. This did not used to happen. CN I assume the message was sent? Why does my voice memo disappear in a very brief time after sent? Did it get delivered? This did not use to happen. What should I do?

If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open - Apple Support

and see if voice memos will work after that
