Unable to resest password

Forgot my password and stats iPad Locked to Owner. I am the OWNER, but it will not let me reset my password!

What happens when you try to reset your password? Error message(s)?


Enter the Apple (iCloud) ID, and click Forgot Password. See if you can get a Rescue or Notification email option if necessary. Link to contact Apple Support at the end of the 2nd article.
