Is it okay to use this bent iPad Air 3?

I woke up this morning to find that my iPad was bent through the middle, as shown below. I am wondering if I can still use this device, as it hasn't shown any signs of malfunctioning yet. I am trying to charge it with a 5V charger to check if the battery has any problems at the moment. Is it okay for me to keep using this device?

The bend, as illustrated, strongly suggests that your iPad has either been sat-on when on a soft/unsupported surface - or has been placed unsupported/unprotected in a backpack with other items. The physical bend has occurred at the weakest point of the iPad chassis - where the casing is pierced for the Smart Connector.

The screen will now be highly stressed - and if not already cracked, may fail at any time. Similarly, as the battery is glued to the chassis, the Li-ion battery will be mechanically deformed and may also fail at any time. Physically damaged Li-ion batteries may be hazardous.

You would be best advised to seek advice from your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP). While your iPad is perhaps unlikely to be repairable, Apple will be able to ensure that the iPad is rendered safe - and recycled.
