Ghost Touch Problem

I am facing ghost touch issue on my iphone xs since last three months. apparently it looked like a software glitch but it turned out to be a hardware issue. And strange thing about this issue is, it only behaves insanely (like typing, opening camera, clicking photos, opening messages by itself etc) when it catches 2G signals. It works perfectly fine when on wifi or 3G or LTE cellular signals. only creates problem when someone is calling and 3g or 4g signals are low and it converts to 2G signals. Need expert opinion, what could be the reason of that. Thanks

iPhone XS, iOS 15

Hi MirzaHaiderAli,

That's is really good troubleshooting to narrow it down when you see the display responding without touch. You have a really good question, but it may take a technician to explain the reason why it happens with only 2G. If you have a case on your iPhone, have you tried removing when you know you will be in an area with 2G to see if that makes a difference?

There are a few more steps found here: If the screen isn't working on your iPhone or iPad.

The steps should help with most display issues, but if not, you will want to contact Apple Support by going to Get Support.

Take care!
