Having trouble shutting off Auto Start using the following Command: sudo nvram AutoBoot=%00

I am trying to shut off Auto Start on my 2020 MacBook Pro. I have tried using terminal and the following command: sudo nvram AutoBoot=%00 I have had no luck.

I also tried to reset the nvram to factory settings by using Option+Command+R+P with no luck. Could not get the double startup sound.

Am I doing something wrong or am I missing something.

Please help,

Phil
