AirPods 3 notification says “you are connecting to an item paired to someone else’s apple id.”

I attached my airpods 3 to my ear and notification said “you are connecting to an item paired to someone else’s apple id.” This is my airpods, why did it give me this notification?

Who's the Seller?:

If you purchased it from Apple or a retailer, you need to return it, and have them disassociate it from come's account.

It is very strange since I purchased last Feb2022 from Apple store chinook and this is the only time I received this notification. Thanks for the advice, I will head to the Apple store soon.
