Apple power adapter's pins are a bit worn out. Is it safe to use?

I would consider replacing your charger. While it may work fine, I would not risk causing a short circuit. I am in no way an electrician, but as you may know electricity can be really dangerous. It doesn't look to bad, but it also shouldn't spark.

Thanks for your response!

I meant that the wall power socket where I plugged my adapter, there was a loose connection and it caused the spark. I took the adapter out instantly and saw these spots, decay in galvanized silver coating of the pins a bit as you can see in the picture.

So now is it safe to use this adapter to charge my phone or it may cause any harm to the phone if I do so?
