Hi Art Joyner,


If you haven't done so yet, restart your MacBook. Sometimes a simple restart can fix minor issues.


If you're using the built-in trackpad check your Trackpad, preferences in Apple menu > System Preferences, click Trackpad , then click Point & Click.

If you're using a Magic Mouse, this article has some steps you may find helpful: If you can't connect your Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse, or Magic Trackpad to your Mac

Some suggestions are:

  • Making sure Bluetooth is on
  • Checking for wireless interference
