Delete it and try again. /Applications/Install macOS Montery.app
Empty the trash.
If your download speed is suspect get on a faster Network.
macOS Monterey hardware requirements—
Try while in Safe Mode.
I had this problem too, trying to update my wife's MacBook Pro to Monterey. I deleted the old installer that was sitting in Applications, emptied the trash and then downloaded a new copy of the installer. I still had the same problem! Finally I shut down the computer, waited 30 seconds or so and then turned it back on. Now the new installer that I had downloaded worked.
Try that. Make sure you delete the old copy of the installer and empty the trash. After getting the new installer, power down and back up again before installing. (Restart might work as well, I didn't try that.)
I have tried it, but it's same error
