Hello all,
my iPhone is near full capacity and and when I checked the iPhone Storage area, the Recommendations section that normally displays to provide useful options to clean things up is not there. Does anyone know why...? It seems rather random that this Recommendations will display or not. The functionality in there (e.g., large files in iMessage, etc) is very useful to target what needs to be cleaned up.

If you've already taken advantage of the storage suggestions, it may not display again. You can learn more here: How to check the storage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
Use recommendations to optimize storage
In the Storage section of Settings, your device might offer recommendations for optimizing your storage. Tap Show All to see all the recommendations for your device.
Read the description of each recommendation, then tap Enable to turn it on or tap the recommendation to review the contents you can delete.

thanks.. you sent the same text I’ve seen re-used in many places.. that “I might see recommendations. “
my question (and need) is a bit more specific— why do storage recommendations show or not show? They once showed in my iPhone.. now not.. and I cannot find a logical reason anywhere..
Does anyone know when or why they will show or not? Versus the generic “they might show”..?
