Iphone 12 Wasserschaden?

Hello Apple Service, I would like to report water damage, I was in Malta with my iPhone 12 mini (which is supposed to be waterproof) and went diving with the phone for a short time, it can't be that the internet says that the phone is allowed to be up to 5 metres deep and 30 minutes in water, but it still has water damage. The phone can no longer be switched on, please write me back as soon as possible to see if I have a guarantee or if I will be replaced with a new one, as it is 100% a production fault.
