Google Safe Search permanently on

I was playing around with the Screen Time restrictions and now I can't unlock the Safe Search option in Google. I get an error message that reads: You don't have permission to change your SafeSearch setting. It's locked by safety settings applied to this browser. I've unrestricted everything in Screen Time as well as in Safari preferences but nothing changes. Firefox and Chrome work fine. Any thoughts?

Hi Nestor Holynskyj,

Have you made sure that the Google preferences for the account you're logged into on Safari is correct? If so does restarting the Mac help? If you sign into a different user account on the Mac does the issue persist?

We look forward to hearing back from you.

Take care.
