What if I lost my recovery key

If you set and lost a 28 character recovery key, you may loose access to your AppleID. And if so, there is nothing apple can do to help. When using a recovery key, you assume sole responsibility for securing your AppleID. It is imperative you keep that recovery key somewhere you can access it if needed.
