Bug: Undeletable Dropped Pin on Maps
I am using the latest iOS, iPadOS and MacOS on my iPhone, iPad, and Mac. However, it is worth mentioning that the problem has been there for the last two years. At the beginning I thought that it would go away with a software update, but is getting kind of frustrating now.
At some point two years ago, I dropped a pin on Maps, rename it and did other stuff with it that I don't remember right now (I was new to iOS and was experimenting). I remember that my intentions was to pin some place I enjoyed, but for some reason the pin was added exactly on my home address. The problem is that, currently, I cannot delete this pin on my Maps app (all devices). I tried control + click and there is no option to remove it on macOS, and similarly on the iPhone and iPad there is no option to remove it. Even more, Maps strongly believes that this pin is my home and behaves accordingly.
To illustrate: I changed my home address in contacts, and it is then updated on maps. Thus a blue icon of a house appears on the new address, with label "home", and giving me the option to move, of course. However, the dropped pin still has label "home" and cannot be deleted (see image below). Furthermore, before updating the home address, its label was still "home" and I was given the option to move (and it would work). However, after the update still there is an option to move, but when clicking there it does nothing. On the other hand, when my home address coincides with the one in the dropped pin, the blue house icon does not appear.
Any ideas on how to fix this? I would ideally like to delete the pin.
