Because, unless an app is misbehaving, there is no need to force close it.
Because it’s actually not good for the battery to close them. The iPhone will have to do an effort to reopen the app if you close it
Because Apple did not design that feature into the OS.
No one here can say why Apple made the design decision they did.
For what purpose would all these users be closing the apps?
For most cases, doing so would increase battery usage, and slow the opening of the app.
What does it take for apple to provide this feature? Feedback? I am sure this must be many apple user’s concern as I can see people finding tricks and tips online for such basic feature.
It gets messy when multiple things are open. Clear all feature is not just a feature but an emotion, believe me😊
If needed apple can run a poll and see how important the feature is.
Sorry, I can’t help with your emotions, but I have 48 apps in my “recently used” list, and unless I deliberately check them, they do not bother me or any of my iDevices.
I meant metaphorically 🙄 anyways now I understand why you don’t need clear all option. Well some people like the mess 🤷♀️
And still not the best phone when it comes to battery saving huh?
