VERTICAL LINES MESSENGER APP IPHONE 13

hello i bought an iPhone 13 
last june 18 it's less than 
2 weeks. I have a question do 
you also experience this issue 
on your iPhone 13? i am using 
messenger app to take some 
pictures for updating my loved 
ones. suddenly a line like 
this appeared in the picture 
when I pressed the button! 
but in the camera app of my 
cellphone itself, there is 
no line. what do you think 
Is this a bug or does my 
camera have a defect?
 please let me know, thank you.

Hey sebilyaaa,

Thanks for those additional details. This sounds like an issue with the Messenger app, not the iPhone camera or iPhone itself since it doesn't appear when you use the Camera app. Go through these steps for the Messenger app: If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open - Apple Support.

Hello, thank you for your advise karina184. I already tried the steps a lot of times, but still the vertical lines appearing. Yes I think you're correct that this is messenger issue( I hope so). Thanks for your opinion, it helped me to calmed down about this kind of issue. I hope this issue will resolve when I go to the apple technician.

Hello itsmj12, the apple customer service told me that I should not worry about this issue. They told me to look for the physical camera I mean the camera itself of the Iphone, if it does not appear, there's nothing to worry about. Maybe it's just a bug from Iphone 13 software or Messenger . Thank you for letting me know that I'm not the one who is encountering this kind of issue! :)

Hi Sebilyaaa, I was worried that I received a defective phone too. I noticed it on third party apps like messenger and whatsapp. when I zoom in and take pics. I really hope it’s just a bug from the softwares or these apps. Thank you for your response!

Yes the vertical lines still appear on my 3rd party apps. But remember when you open the camera itself of your iphone, you must not see those lines. Only on the 3rd apps like messenger, whatsapp, instagram etc.

Hey sebilyaaa,

Do you have that same issue when taking photos directly in the Camera app as well? Or does it only seem to happen with photos sent in Messenger?

This only happens when I use Messenger camera. But for the camera itself of my phone, it doesn't appear at all. I need your advise guys if this is only a bug or my phone has defect 😔
