Ipad Pro (IOS 15.5) Wifi Trouble

Ever since I updated my Ipad to the latest IOS package, it has been able to connect to my apartments wifi, but will drop internet connection after just connecting. My phone and other devices are working perfectly on the exact same wifi. Also, this problem seems to only happen on certain wifi networks. My school wifi works fine on my ipad. I have tried about any and every fix I could find. Including but not limited to......

  1. Resetting wifi settings
  2. Reinstalling the IOS update
  3. Forgetting and reconnecting to the Wifi
  4. etc etc

Let me know if you might have a fix, thanks.

Perhaps you have iPadOS15 WiFi Private Addressing enabled, this being enabled by default. The WiFi Private Address feature provides additional privacy and security when using “public” (untrusted) WiFi networks.

While this feature is intended to enhance your privacy by reducing opportunity for tracking, it can in some circumstances disrupt network connectivity. If disabled, your iPad will be no less secure than prior to availability of this privacy enhancement. This feature is largely unnecessary for a home WiFi network, but for a communal WiFi network may be desirable.

This feature is configured for each WiFi network to which you connect. As a diagnostic exercise, try disabling this feature:

Settings > WiFi > [Your Network Name / SSID] - tap the blue “i” icon - Private Wi-Fi Address - set to OFF
