That likely means that you haven't secured your router with a password. This means that anyone can connect to your router

Google for instructions or call your Internet provider to lock down your router.

Now if you are connecting to a site that is http://somesite.com then you get a message that the connection is not secure. This is a completely different issue. You should be connecting to sites that start with "https://" The "s" means that is a secure connection and has nothing to do with your WiFi.

Is the iPhone connecting to your home WiFi network, or is it connecting to a "public" network.......like the network at the coffee place, restaurant, airport, etc.?
