My WI-FI says unsecured why is that

That likely means that you haven't secured your router with a password. This means that anyone can connect to your router

Google for instructions or call your Internet provider to lock down your router.


Now if you are connecting to a site that is http://somesite.com then you get a message that the connection is not secure. This is a completely different issue. You should be connecting to sites that start with "https://" The "s" means that is a secure connection and has nothing to do with your WiFi.
